Prefabricated buildings are buildings designed in a factory and assembled on-site. Also known as PEBs (Pre-Engineered Buildings), they are generally steel structures. The assembled sections are manufactured in a factory to the exact dimensions, transported to the site, and assembled on-site with bolted connections.
